Erinevean is a identity where ones gender identity doesn’t necessarily shift, but there’s still a disparity between how it feels and seems internally, and how it can be described and/or visualized. It’s from the Estonian “erinevus”, meaning “disparity”. For example, one might feel that their gender is a mingender, but when trying to visualize and conceptualize their gender, it may appear as something completely different like a ball of light, a plant, etc. Erinevean people can have any and/or all genders, there's just a disparity between those genders and their conceptualization.
History
The idea and definition for the term was coined by LGBTA Wiki user Emberfrost-cat on February 28, 2021, and the actual term was coined by LGBTA Wiki user Reign of the queerios on the same day.
