Emotuaro or emotuaromantic is a romantic orientation on the aromantic-spectrum. One's romantic orientation is fluid or fluctuating and is affected by one's emotions, mood, and state of mind, but the individual's orientations stay on the aromatic spectrum. For example, one can feel demiromantic in an inactive state of mind and cupioromantic in an active one.
Emotuaro can be seen as a mix of emoturomantic and aroflux, but emotuaro is exclusively fluid between aromantic orientations that are changed or fluid because of one's state of mind, emotions, and mood.
Emotuaro can be a romantic orientation on its own or can combined with other orientations. For example, one could be emotuaro and toric, meaning one only feels romantic and/or tertiary attraction towards genders they’re attracted to.
The sexual equivalent is emotuace.

The term was coined by FANDOM user crayonpuppy.x on August 19, 2021. The term was inspired by emoturomantic, but was specifically created for aro-spectrum attraction. It was coined through this page and has no outside sources.
