Emotional Attraction, also known as Ecstatic Attraction, is an umbrella term that encompasses many forms of tertiary attraction. Emotional attraction is based on a desire to form non-hierarchical, mutually nurturing emotional bonds a specific person/people. To feel emotionally attracted to someone means desiring to be consistently supportive of and supported by another person emotionally. Forms of attraction in this umbrella include but are not limited to romantic, queerplatonic, platonic, mental, and amical attraction.
An emotional crush is known as a blush.
