Other, Othergender, Other-gender, or Eligender indicates an otherly, different, or foreign gender, but also a specific/objective gender identity. It is beyond the pre-established gender terms within a society. It is typically used as a general category for any gender that is outside the rest of the given options. For example, usually in documents, there is "male", "female" and "other" option, possibly among other options. It may overlap with x-gender in this way. Though some people may identify as "other" as a specific identity, similar to non-binary.
It is not to be confused with third gender. Unlike third genders, other gender is not a culturally specific identity.
