Duplisexual is a term that describes a person having more than one attraction at the same time. Similar to multigender, it can be used on its own or as an umbrella term for people who experience more than one attraction simultaneously. However, it is not exclusive of abrosexual people, as, while they don't necessarily experience multiple attractions at once, they are able to.
History
The term was coined on September 2nd 2021 on Twitter by user TurtRose[1] and further explained on luars blog[2].
Flag
The duplisexual flag was created by TurtRose and posted in the same post as the coining of the term[1]. Its stripes mean:
- pale red - intertwining multiple attraction
- yellow - complexity of attraction
- pale purple/lavender - separate multiple attraction
