Duflesexual or dufleromantic is a term to describe anyone who is sexually or romantically attracted to only those of the binary genders (men and women). This identity is similar to binsexual, but different in the way that the sexuality is only applied to those who identify as a binary gender themselves. If one identifies as duofilsexual, they can also be disexual.
History
The current usage and definition of the term were coined by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 1, 2022.[1] Duflesexual, formerly named "duofillesexual" and "duofilsexual", has become what it is now to accomodate english pronunciation.
Etymology
This prefix term "dufle", has been indirectly translated from Latin to describe the preference of 2 binary genders. Vowels have been subject to change to suit pronunciation.
Flag
The new duflesexual, dufleromantic, and old duflesexual flags were also created by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 1, 2022. The background flag resembling the full LGBTQ+ flag is actually colors formed by mixing the colors of the lesbian flag, representing attraction to females, and full LGBTQ+ flag, representing being gay and attraction to males). In the center is a triangle of the bisexual flag.
