Duflesexual is a term to describe anyone who is sexually attracted to only those of the binary genders (men and women). This identity is similar to binsexual, but different in the way that the sexuality is only applied to those who identify as a binary gender themselves. If one identifies as duflesexual, they can also be disexual.
The romantic counterpart is dufleromantic.
The multigender counterpart is duflegender.
The genderfluidity counterpart is duflefluid.
History
The current usage and definition of the term were coined by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 1, 2022.[1] Duflesexual, formerly named "duofillesexual" and "duofilsexual," has become what it is now to accomodate English pronunciation.
Flag
The new duflesexual and old duflesexual flags were created by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 1, 2022.[2][3] The background flags are the lesbian and gay flags. The center is the bisexual flag in a triangular shape.
Etymology
The prefix "dufle" was accomodated to English pronunciation from duofil. The prefix "duofil" comes from "dýo fýla" which in Greek, means two genders.
The pronounciation of the prefix (dufle) of duflesexual, is pronounced /dōōfōl/ (doo-f-O-le).
