Duflegender is a term to describe an individual who is genderfluid through only binary genders (binaryfluid). Duflegender individuals identify more as one binary gender than the other.
The difference between duflegender and duflefluid is that duflegender individuals identify their gender fludity more as a gender than fluidity. This is the opposite for duflefluid.
The romantic counterpart is dufleromantic, the sexual counterpart is duflesexual, and the fluid counterpart is duflefluid.
History
The current usage and definition of the term were coined by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 8, 2022.[1] This term is based off related terms such as duflesexual and dufleromantic.
Flag
The duflegender flag was created by FANDOM user Aivnc on January 8, 2022.[2] The background flags are the male and female flags. The center is the bigender flag in a triangular shape.
Etymology
The prefix "dufle" was accomodated to English pronunciation from duofil. The prefix "duofil" comes from dýo fýla which in Greek, means two genders.
The pronounciation of the prefix (dufle) of duflegender, is pronounced /dōōfōl/ (doo-f-O-le).
