Diamondian or ametrinian refers to someone who is mlm and wlm, meaning someone who is a woman and a man who is attracted to men. Being "a women and a man" includes A) individuals who are genderfluid, and therefore are sometimes women and sometimes men. B) Bigender or multigender individuals who are men or man aligned and women/woman aligned at the same time. C) Androgyne aligned non-binary individual who feels connected to femininity and masculinity at the same time. A diamondian individual is attracted to men and/or prioritizes their attraction to men over other attractions they may have. Diamondian is an umbrella term, like sapphic and achillean, though it can also be used as an identity by itself.
The woman-loving counterpart is larimarian and the non-binary-loving counterpart is topazian.
History
The term diamondian was coined by an anonymous user on the blog beyond-mogai-pride-flags on July 6th of 2018 to describe their experience.
The term ametrinian was coined through anonymous submission to the Tumblr blog beyond-mogai-pride-flags on June 28th, 2018.[1]
