Demiromanticspike, also known as Exceptional-Demiromantic is a term for someone who is normally demiromantic, and requires a strong emotional connect with someone before feeling romantic attraction. However, they occasionally experience rare cases where they feel romantic attraction without having an emotional connection.
The sexual equivalent is demisexualspike.
History
Demispike was coined on the LGBTA wiki by the user LittlePrettyKittyAlly and MaxTheTransGuy on October 18, 2020.[1] The flag was created by MaxTheTransGuy on October 19, 2020.
