    Dawngender is a xenogender and aesthetigender in the Atmospheric System connected to dawn or sunrises. Dawngender people may feel a connection to the colors and peacefulness of dawn or have a gender experience which is more intense in the morning and fades throughout the day. Dawngender can be considered a genderflux experience of gender.

    Its counterpart is duskgender.

    History and Flag

    The term and flag were created by Tumblr user kyressin and their friend Hatch on January 20, 2018.[1] It was initially defined in a similar way as sunsetgender.

    On May 3, 2021, FANDOM user The Icarus System expanded the definition so it could be added it to the Atmospheric System.
