Dawngender is a xenogender and aesthetigender in the Atmospheric System connected to dawn or sunrises. Dawngender people may feel a connection to the colors and peacefulness of dawn or have a gender experience which is more intense in the morning and fades throughout the day.
Its counterpart is duskgender.

The term and flag were created by Tumblr user kyressin and their friend Hatch on January 20, 2018.[1] It was initially defined in a similar way as sunsetgender.
On May 3, 2021, FANDOM user The Icarus System expanded the definition so it could be added it to the Atmospheric System.
