Cygness is a gender identity for someone who is assigned female at birth, who identifies or partially identifies with their birth gender. They also feel that their gender is androgyne (partially or fully), and is mascflux. Someone who is cygness might feel as if their gender has a strong connection to soft or elegant themes, but it is not required.

History

This term was coined by lemmmingss on Tumblr on February 4th, 2021.

An alternate cygness flag was created by emsydacat on Discord on August 1st, 2021. It is identical to the original flag, except for the feather.
