    Cupid Asexual flag

A Cupid Asexual or Cupid Ace is an asexual individual who falls under the definition of asexual, but still experiences a small form of sexual attraction. Cupid asexuals may relate to having a ‘lack of’, ‘low’ or ‘little to no’ sexual attraction as stated in asexual's definition.

The term can be considered an opposite to Black Stripe Asexual as it also specifies where an individual lies under the definition of asexual. The aromantic counterpart is Cupid Aromantic.

    History

The term Cupid Asexual and its counterpart, Cupid Aromantic, were coined by Tumblr user thelesbianbakugou on November 23rd, 2021.

    Flag

The Cupid Asexual flag was coined on the same day by the same user. Color meanings are as follows: purple represents sexual attraction, the shades of black and gray represent a lack of but still existing amount of attraction, white stripes represent community, and the Cupid’s bow represents love in the asexual community and the presence of attraction in ones own orientation.
