    The term competitive relationship was first referenced as a joke by FANDOM user CryingAt4am on December 16th, 2020 on the [[Casual Relationship|casual relationship]] page. They stated "this implies competitive relationships exist." After several weeks of pondering, user Cryptocrew decided to coin it into an actual term on December 27th, 2020.

    The flag was coined by one of the system members of Cryptocrew who goes by Artemis on December 27th, 2020. The three hearts on three pedestals stand for the three groups of competition. Dark pink stands for love, mid-pink stands for playfullness, light pink stands for trust and consent. Red stands for decisions and importance, blue stands for fun and love, and green stands for respect for others and their decisions. The gold stands for unique-ness and special bonds.
