Coloric expands upon the concept of colorgender, turning colors into a complex language for describing one's identity. While coloric borrows from the xenic method of describing identity with concepts not usually associated with it, it is not inherently a xenogender and can be used by anyone. It may be seen as especially necessary to those who experience a lexical gap in describing their identity and who want to bring clarity to it by using any of the near infinite hues (pure color), tints (hue + white), tones (hue + gray), and shades (hue + black).

Coloric is a specific but independent, complex, and expanded form of xenic/xeno-alignment, (not exactly a Xenogender but, related to) , this concept can be used by anyone who identifies as such or has experienced an apparently irresolvable language gap and wants to clarify it using known colors names or the almost infinite hues (pure color), tints (Hue + white), tones (Hue + gray), and shades (Hue + black) than can be perceived by the human eye or programed in a device. It is a counterparty from every preexistent LGBTQIA+ terminology (except colorgender) but, it can be used as a complimentary term, for example: genderfluid coloric, pansexual coloric or demiromantic coloric; also, it can be an adaptable umbrella term such as coloric sexual, or coloric gender alignment.

Being coloric cannot fully replace the previous LGBTQIA+ terminiology, because is an explanatory term that needs a concept base to work on, for example: if a trisexual person identifies as coloric, can use three different colors for their three attractions but, if they are also sexually fluid, may use that three colors as hues, and create infinite hues between the three attractions for representing their sexual fluidity, if they are also demisexual can create a light-dark gradient with infinite tints, tones and shades for every hue, to represent the intensity of their attraction in every case scenario; that’s why coloric people are so complex.

== Colorgender vs Coloric: ==
Coloric completely differs from colorgender in that it can be used to describe not only gender, but gender alignment, expression, sex, sexuality, romantic orientation, and other identities.
Coloric can be interpreted as an extended term for colorgender, but its adaptable and interchangeable nature may or may not be contradictory to colorgender or even Huegender because it is not specifically related to gender; That is why a colorgender individual can choose to identify or not as coloric, both experiences being similar but different and complementary.

As a gender, coloric can be interpreted as an expansion of colorgender, not just describing one's gender in relation to one or more colors, but also potentially to an entire spectrum of colors where each one has its own significance. Therefore, a colorgender individual may or may not identify as coloric and vice versa. Coloric genders are also similar to, but distinct from the colorgender subtypes rainbowgender and huegender. Unlike rainbowgender, a coloric individuals may not feel connected to the color spectrum as a whole, rather they may describe their identity with only one part of the color spectrum or an otherwise personally curated color spectrum. Unlike huegender, coloric genders do not have to be fluid.

The Coloric System is a system that applies a customized color or color spectrum to describe an individual's identity. The coloric system can be applied to any identity, including but not limited to gender identity, gender alignment, gender expression, sex, sexual orientation, and , romantic orientation.

Coloric is usually used as an modifier for other identity terminology and can be suited to individual experiences. For example, if a trisexual individuals identifies as coloric, they may associate three different colors with their three attractions. If they are also sexually fluid, those three hues may blend together into a spectrum, creating infinite hues between the three attractions that they move between. If the individual is also demisexual, they may create a light-dark gradient with many tints, tones and shades for every hue, to represent the intensity of their attraction for each gender, individual and scenario.

Color selection

A coloric's color spectrum and the associated meanings are deeply personal and may be based in their culture, emotions, or anything else that impacts their associations with those colors. Coloric individuals are free to reject or accept color stereotypes into their personal spectrum, such as pinkish colors for femininity and blueish colors for masculinity. The colors and their associated meanings in one's spectrum may also change over time. The number of colors on the spectrum are limitless and as a result, there is no limit to the number of ways colorics may describe their identity.

Format

The format of coloric is flexible because the necessity in expressing such a complicated concept is unique to every individual. The formal form allows complete specificity in color and a way to make an accurate graphic representation. The informal form is more expressive, showing connection between color and other concepts. The unspecific form is the most general and the easiest to communicate.

A possible graphic representation:

Formal Use

Formal use in the coloric system describes the identity and its color using a hexidecimal. It should be noted as: base identity, “coloric”, and the hexadecimal color code. For example: Asexual coloric#0000FF. For multiple colors, use commas and/or the word "and". For example: Galaxian coloric#000000,#FF0000,#FFFFFF.

For a color range, the formal format is: base identity, “coloric”, and the hexadecimal color code for the lighter color “to” (or "-") the hexadecimal color code for the darker color. For example: Genderflux coloric#00FF00to#0000FF.

For multiple ranges of colors, list them with the word "and". Fluctuation and fluidity can also be noted. For example: Trigenderfluidflux coloric#FFFFFFto#FF0000 and #FFFFFFto#000000 fluctuates with #00FF00to#0000FF.

Informal Use

The informal use in the coloric system describes the identity and its color with a custom name instead of a hexidecimal. For example: Asexual coloric blue, or Singularian coloric ice comet. Multiple color names can be written as a list. For example: Galaxian coloric mystery, shimmer, and violet.

If the individuals needs a color range, the informal format is: base term, “coloric”, the custom name for the lighter color “to” the custom name for the darker color. For example: Genderflux coloric hope to peace.

If more than one color range is needed, they can be listed with the word “and”. Fluctuation and fluidity can also be noted. For example: trigenderfluidflux coloric day to fire and night fluctuates with life and spirit.

Unspecific Use

Unspecific use uses the world “coloric” after the applicable identity. For example: asexual coloric, singularian coloric, or genderflux coloric.
