    The chronosaromantic flag.
Cleaner version of the chronosaromantic flag.

Chronosaromantic (pronounced krow-nose-a-row-man-tick) is on the aromantic spectrum that describes someone who takes an extremely long time to like and/or love someone. (usually well over a few months) They also can sometimes ¨tell¨ who they will be able to love in the future, and sometimes take steps to keep that person in their lives. Others who identify with this label may choose to not get involved in any romantic relationships. Sometimes someone who identifies with this label may feel that they are chronosaromantic because of trauma they experienced, or because of any other emotion-inhibiting experience, but the label is not exclusive to those who feel this way. Chronosaromantic can be paired with other sexualities, such as someone may be chronosaromantic and caedsexual, or chronosaromantic and cupioromantic.

    Flag

The flag goes from top to bottom dark green (for being completely aromantic), to lighter green (being still aromantic but knowing you can love someone), to a gold yellow (representing the time it takes and also the transition stage), to a light purple pink (for starting to feel the romantic attraction), then finally to a darker purple pink (for the end, when someone is completely in love and feeling romantic attraction)

The cleaner version of the chronosaromantic flag was created by Fandom user Guns Før Hands.

    History

The term chronosaromantic was coined by wiki user TheAshSystem

    Etymology

The term chronosaromantic uses the greek word for ¨time¨ (χρόνος) because of the long amount of time it takes the attraction to build, and the word ¨aromantic¨ because it falls in the aromantic label because of the original lack of attraction, and because someone who is chronosaromantic may choose to not be in a romantic relationship.
