Cherrygender is a xenogender and gastrogender connected to cherries. One may simply describe their gender as being cherries. It could be described as red, sweet, and lukewarm.[1]

Though the exact date of the coining is unknown, cherrygender in the context of being a gastrogender was coined on September 17, 2018, or before then, by the Tumblr blog thepancherryblossom.[1] The flags were created by the Tumblr blog cherrygender on or before September 17, 2018.[1]
