    The centrgender flag.

    Do not confuse with Isogender.

Centrgender, also spelled centergender, is a gender modality that describes someone who feels as though they do not fit into either category of cis or trans.

Centrgender can be used as a specific identity, or as an umbrella term for anyone who isn't cis or trans.

A centrgender person does not identify (fully or at all) with their AGAB, and therefore isn’t cisgender, but does not feel a connection to the label transgender. They may even feel as though they fall in the middle of these two.

Disclaimer: Anyone can use this term as long as they aren't cis--even a binary trans person--this is a purposefully inclusive term.

Centrgender can be modified with terms like: centercis (where one doesn't identify as cis nor trans, but feels that cis fits more than trans), and centrtrans (where one doesn't identify as cis nor trans, but feels that trans fits more than cis).

    Flag

The centrgender flag was made by discord users Asthore and emsydacat on July 31, 2021.

    History

This term was coined by Rat0Meat on July 28, 2021. They wanted all all-inclusive term for being neither cis nor trans. The subsets centrcis and centrtrans were proposed by reddit user u/hiitsyaz two days later.

    Etymology

"Centr" is the latin route for "center", which is why the term is spelled both ways.
