Birdgender is a xenogender in which someone feels a strong connection to birds, either strongly identifying with them or simply wanting to incorporate them into their gender to better understand their identity. This term can be related to a specific species of bird, or just birds in general. Anyone can identify as birdgender.
One who identifies as birdgender may refer to themself as a boy, girl, non-binary, or simply birdgender or another combination, depending on their gender identity.
