Azsexual (pronounced ‘as’ or ‘ays’) is a sexual orientation on the asexual spectrum. It describes one that is ace-spec, but doesn’t feel like they are on the spectrum and instead feels like they are allosexual.
Some experiences may include:
- Experiencing high libido that makes them feel as if they are allosexual.
- Feeling allosexual (as opposed to identifying as allosexual) even though they are allosexual to one gender but is ace-spec towards another. An example could be someone who is demisexual towards men but experiences high libido towards women, which makes the attraction to women feel allosexual.
Its romantic counterpart is azromantic.
