    The arsongender flag.
    The alterate arsongender flag.

Arsongender, also known as arokiagender, refers to someone who feels a disconnect from one's gender, fully or partially, and therefore completely dissociates with gender as a social construct and instead chooses to identify outside of the gender norm in a fluid way, accompanied with the desire burn the entire social construct of gender down, thus the name arsongender.

One who identifies as arsongender often does not abide by gender norms, knowing their gender is there but simply cannot be described by any label, resulting in a disconnect from one's own gender, similar to pomogender. Due to this, people who identify as arsongender may not understand societies social construct of gender and the rules that apply to it, leading to an even further disconnect or hate towards gender. Arsongender people may in certain contexts prefer to be unlabeled, and they are often gender non-conforming because of their lack of understanding or dislike towards gender.

    History and Flag

The term was first used in a Reddit post by the user small_brain_gay on September 30, 2020, with the following definition of arsongender in an attempt to upset those who believe in transmedicalism:

a gender identity in which one doesn't connect or believe gender and wants to burn it all down.[1]

The same user created the arsongender flag in the same post. The black stripes represents ashes, the maroon stripes fire, the yellow-orange stripes a disavowal of the pink-blue binary, and the white stripes a lack of gender. The alternate version of the flag was created by FANDOM user RuskiRiri on May 16, 2021. The alternate version includes grey stripes to represent the blurry or smoky disconnect between arsongender people and their gender.
