Unlabeled Gender is a term used by those who wish to not label their gender for various reasons. It is commonly used by those who think agender is still labeling their gender (or its lack). The term can also be used as a counterpart of the "prefer not to say" option often present in various forms.

Other reasons why one may choose to not label their gender include, but are not limited to:

    • There is no existing label for their gender.
    • They prefer not to label their gender.
    • They do not want to tell their gender, for safety or other reasons.

The term was coined by fengxinziren (now sinophobis) on Twitter on January 18, 2021.
