Aromid is a term that describes someone that is strictly aromantic, but not strictly asexual, while still being on the asexual spectrum. Someone who is aromantic and grey-bisexual, for example, could call themselves aromid.

The term can also be combined with a sexuality, or used as a sole identity. The same person above could choose to call themselves a bi aromid, or simply an aromid.

It was publicly coined November 21, 2019, and made in mind for people who felt limited by not using the split attraction model, or in choosing to simplify their identity as either 'aro ace' or 'aro allo'. Along it the terms acemid and amid were coined, all with similar intentions.

Those who are on both the aro and ace spectrum but not strictly both aromantic and strictly asexual all fall under the mid label, which is the collective term for acemids, amids, and aromids.
