Aromid is a term that describes someone that is strictly aromantic, but not strictly asexual, while still being on the ace spectrum. Someone who is aromantic and grey-bisexual, for example, could call themselves aromid.
The term can also be combined with a sexuality, or used as a sole identity. The same person above could choose to call themselves a bi aromid, or simply an aromid.
It was publicly coined on 21 Nov 2019, made in mind for people who were on both the aromantic and the asexual spectrum while not being strictly aroace, and felt limited by adopting the non-sam label, or in choosing to simplify their identity as either 'aro ace' or 'aro allo'. Along it the terms acemid and amid were coined, all with similar intentions.
