Apresromantic

The apresromantic flag.

Apresromantic is a sexuality on the aromantic spectrum. It is a subset of demiromantic where one only develops romantic attraction to someone after another form of attraction is felt. This other attraction could be sexual, platonic, queerplatonic, alterous, or another type of attraction. The original attraction felt may or may not fade away over time with the new attraction replacing it.

The sexual equivalent is apressexual.

Etymology

Apresromantic comes from the French après meaning "after" or "later".
