Androgyneromantic, androgynoromantic, gynandromantic or gynandroromantic describes an individual who has romantic attraction exclusively towards androgynes and/or individuals of an androgynous gender- individuals who are simultaneously masculine and feminine or simultaneously men and women. It can also be described as someone who is attracted to both men and women, particularly those with an androgynous appearance.[1] Under this definition it is a combination of androromantic and gyneromantic.
It is a term with several possible definitions. First, is the romantic attraction to women and men. This means that biromantic men, biromantic women, and non-binary individuals attracted to women and men can be considered Androgyneromantics. Secondly, is the romantic attraction to individuals would possess characteristics of both or more genders, such as intersex individuals, or non-binary individuals in general. Thirdly, a possible definition is an attraction to individuals who present androgynously, regardless of their actual gender. Fourthly, is the attraction only to individuals with "androgynous anatomy", AKA intersex individuals, regardless of whether that individual identifies as any other gender, however, this definition is transmisic as it reduces individuals to their genitals.
