Amplusian (or Amplusgender) is a gender described as a non-strict identity, or when your gender is very wide, varied, and miscellaneous. This gender is neither static, solid, or stable and can be fluid, flux, or both. Amplusian can be used as an umbrella term for any gender that changes in any way.
It is the opposite of suptilian.
History
Amplusian was coined by Tumblr user arco-pluris on March 15, 2018.[1] The Latin root "amplus" is an adjective meaning "abundant" or "ample".
Flag
The amplusian flag was created on March 15, 2018 by arco-pluris. An alternate flag was created August 26, 2018 by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on Tumblr.[2] Tumblr blog gender-resource designed another flag on February 20, 2020.[3]
