An amplusian flag by beyond-mogai-pride-flags.

Amplusian (or Amplusgender) is a gender that can be described as a lenient, non-strict, wide, or varied identity. This gender is not static, solid, or stable and can be fluid, fluctuating, or both. It can also be in a grey area between gender identities. Amplusian can be used as an umbrella term for any gender that changes in any way or is non-strict, it can also be an identity on it's own.

It is the opposite of suptilian.

History

Amplusian was coined by Tumblr user arco-pluris on March 15, 2018.^[1] The Latin root "amplus" is an adjective meaning "abundant" or "ample".

Flag

The amplusian flag was created on March 15, 2018 by arco-pluris. An alternate flag was created August 26, 2018 by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on Tumblr.^[2] Tumblr blog gender-resource designed another flag on February 20, 2020.^[3] None of the flag was any confirmed meanings.
