Ambonec (shortened to AN) is a gender is which one is female, male, and neither, at the same time.

There are two interpretations of ambonec, of which are both equally valid.

    • That one is trigender, with the genders being male, female, and something that is neither such as agender, maverique, neutrois, or another non-binary gender.
    • That one's gender is paradoxical, so one feels like they're male and female, but at the same time feels like they're neither.

Ambonec people can have any gender presentation and use any pronouns. One can be demi-ambonec, meaning there could be circumstances where it changes.

    History

The term ambonec was coined by Tumblr user transmalenaoto (nbshadow), who is now deactivated, sometime before August 12, 2014[1].
