Amantesexual is a subtype of demisexual in which one only feels sexual attraction towards individuals one is in love with. One does not feel sexual attraction until they're in love with someone. Being in love with someone does not necessarily have to be romantic.[1]
History
The term was coined on May 9th, 2018 by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags. They created the term by request of another Tumblr user, polymorphic-cryptid.

The flag was attached to the original coining, and was supposedly also made by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on Tumblr.
Etymology
"Amante""Amante" is aa combination of "am" meaning love, and "ante" meaning before. However, Amante is also the spanish word for "lover".
