    Afisgender is a xenogender that feels hazy, dreamlike, or is hard to conceptualize, due to neurodivergence. Only neurodivergent individuals may identify as afisgender.

    Afisgender was coined on July 27th, 2020, by Tumblr user Androidic.

    The afisgender flags were created on September 7th, 2020, by Tumblr user Queerso.[1]

    The original afisgender flag is a five striped flag. The outer stripes are mint green, the middle stripes are cyan, and the inner stripe is sky blue. There are three pastel mint circles over the inner stripe, each outlined with the same sky blue.

    Etymology

    Afis- comes from the Greek “ασαφής”/“asafís”, meaning hazy.
