Acosensual (or acorsensual) is an identity on asensual spectrum that refers to someone who experiences sensual attraction that they want to act on (e.i. huggung, kissing, cuddeling, ect), but at the same time has a strong aversion to engaging in it due to bad experiences, apprehension, or other misgivings about being involved in sensual relationships or activities involved in a sensual relationship, etc.
Acosensual is typically used by people with PTSD or other trauma involving sensual experiences. It can also be used by those whose neurodivergence or disability could cause apprehension about acting on one's sensual attraction. However, the term is not exclusive to these groups.
