It describes an individual who is asexual and sex-averse or sex-repulsed, but also romance-averse or romance-repulsed because they view most forms of romantic intimacy as sexual. The amount of romantic attraction felt can vary depending on the individual. The romantic equivalent of this term is arobleed.

    Acebleed was coined by Reddit user u/massivemarionberry97 on June 13th, 2022.

    Etymology

    The word acebleed is a combination of the words aromantic and bleed because an acebleed individual feels that their sex aversion/repulsion is 'bleeding into their sex stance.

    Flag

    The dark purple stripe is for sex aversion/repulsion, the bright purple stripe represents asexuality. The purple field represents romance repulsion and the red teardrop symbolises sex aversion/repulsion 'bleeding' into romance aversion/repulsion.
