ACDCgender (also spelled AC/DCgender) is a musicagender based off the music of the Australian rock band AC/DC. An ACDCgender identifying person may feel that their gender is hard as a rock, as loud as Hell’s Bells, flashy, and legendary, and they may have felt thunderstruck when they first realised that ACDCgender was a valid form of self-expression.
A common misconception about the gender is that it is noise pollution. However, that is not true. ACDCgender ain’t noise pollution.
History
In March 2013, Brian French coined the term when xe found that xyr gender did not conform with any of the preexisting ones. Since then, roughly 200 other gender-diverse people, mostly in the region of Sydney, Australia, have adopted the gender.
