Xenine is the xenic counterpart to feminine, masculine, and similar terms. The noun form is xeninity. Genders which are xenine in nature are referred to as xingenders. Somebody who is xenine may or may not have a strong sense of their gender, and may instead have vague ideas and feelings, though this is not required.
Xenine does not fit within the western binary of gender, and does not have the same roles/stereotypes that masculine and feminine are associated with.
History
The term is being used since at least 2018.[1] The first flag specifically for xeninity was designed by Tumblr user IMOGA-pride on January 13, 2019.[2]
