Voidpunkspike (abbreviated VPspike), is defined as being human most of the time but having periods where one "spikes" to being voidpunk. These spikes could be triggered by a specific event or something someone says, or they could happen randomly, with no apparent reason.

The term was created on October 22, 2020 on reddit by u/CowRepresentative166.[1]
Flag
The voidpunkspike flag was created by an anonymous wiki user on October 22, 2020. It is based off of the voidpunk flag, and has a spike to represent the spikes of non-humanity that someone who is voidpunkspike experiences. Just like on the voidpunk flag, purple represents asexuals and non-binary individuals, green represents aromantic individuals and neurodivergent individuals, and the black stripe represents the void and a lack of humanity.
The alternate flag was created by IAmArtemisTheCat on October 15, 2021.[1] The voidpunk flag with triangles to represent "spiking" to voidpunk.
