Voidflux, voidgenderflux or gendervoidflux has two possible definitions:
- Mostly gendervoid/voidgender, but with a particular connection to masculinity, femininity, or other gendered feelings, and these feelings are fluid. Like agenderfluid, but specifically with gendervoid. One who is voidflux might have some masculine feelings one day, and feminine feelings the next.[1]
- Refers to one who is gendervoid and genderflux. For example, one may feel 15% gendervoid one day, and 75% the next. When one's gender fluctuates, agender is the base (0%). So when a voidflux individual is at 100%, they strongly feel as if there is a void where their gender should be, but when they are at 0%, they simply feel like they never had a gender in the first place.
History
Voidflux was coined on or before August 5th, 2016 by tumblr user animemimic.[1]
Flag
The first voidflux flag was designed by animemimic. Red represents femininity, yellow represents non binary, blue represents masculinity. Darkened colors represent the void and/or lack of gender.[1]
The second voidflux flag was designed by Uncertified Funny on May 16, 2021. The black stripes represents the void at 100%. Grey and dark blue represent intensity in between 0% and 100%. White represents agender (0%).
