Venngender is a gender that can be described as the mathematical intersection of two genders. It is a gender identity where two genders overlap and combined with each other, creating a whole new gender, like the middle section of a Venn diagram. A venngender person does not identify as either of the intersecting genders separately, they are only the combination of those genders.
This is not to be confused with cogender, in which one identifies as both genders separately AND as a combination of those genders.
More simply, it can also be described as a gender that can only be identified in the overlap between two or more other genders.[1]
One may express this gender in the format of X vennY where X and Y are the two genders. For example: girl vennboy. In this example one is not comfortable being identified as a boy or as a girl, but is comfortable being identified as a combination of a boy and girl.
