Vellutugender is a xenogender that is connected to velvet in some way. It may be connected to velvet itself, or feel like qualities of velvet, or it may be most easily described/visualized through metaphors of velvet, or may feel associated with different aesthetics involving velvet.
History
Vellutugender was coined by Discord user reign of rainbows (Reign of the breadsticcs on FANDOM) on April 23, 2021, at the request of Reddit user r/hiitsyaz. She designed the flag the same day.
Etymology
Vellutugender comes from the Corsican word for velvet, "vellutu".
