V Polyamory or Vee Polyamory is a term to describe a type of polyamorous relationship which involves three people, where one person is in a relationship with two partners who are not in a relationship with each other. For example: A is dating B and C, but B and C are not dating each other[1]. It is not the same a cheating because all people involved are aware of all other parties and consent to it. The two people on the "ends of V", may or may not identify as polyamorous, but still consent to their partner having another partner.
Some DADT relationships may fall into this structure, but the two terms are not mutually exclusive.
Flags
The first flag was coined by Deviantart user NonMonoPrideFlags on December 26th, 2015. Red is for passion, grey is for stability, and purple is for sensuality[1].
The second flag was created by Weniviere on December 30th, 2020. The dark purple represents stability; The medium purple stands for unity, the light purple stands for consent, the white stands for non-conformity to societies roles, the light pink stands for love, the medium pink stands for attraction (of any kind), and the dark pink stands for relationships.
