(Corrections to the exclusivity as it is specific to alters in DID/OSDD systems, not all systems, which is stated in the source post. Added reference to the second flag design. I don’t know how to add the new flag to the page.) |

History & Flag
Utrinquegender was coined by Tumblr user married-to-the-night on February 14, 2018. She coined the term as she is a feminine-aligned alter in a system, and the host's body is AFAB. However, other alters and the host are transmasculine and have a male-passing body. When she fronts she deals with dysphoria, presents femininely, and has to deal with fear regarding things such as how to refer to herself, which restroom to use, and what gender the body passes as. So despite being a woman in an AFAB body, she still experiences things similar to the experience of a trans woman.
The first utrinquegender flag was designed by beyond-mogai-pride-flags on February 21, 2018.
