Miss Rea Nymphiah (RAY NIM-fee-uh) is an avid member of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is a frequent member on the LGBTQ-friendly programming site Scratch. She is very gae and advocates for LGBTQ+ rights.

"Rea Nymphiah" is a pseudonym; her real name will remain undisclosed.

    Identity

    Social identity

Rea is known by friends to be highly introverted, choosing to avoid most situations that involve physical interaction with others. She chooses to identify as a nerd and a lone wolf. She has diagnosed herself with ADHD and social anxiety.

    Queer identity

In the spring of 2020, Rea started to explore the LGBTQ+ community. During this time, she had identified as a cisgender heterosexual allied male.

In August 2020, Rea realised that she didn't feel attracted to other people, and began to identify as a grey asexual, before switching to asexual and later aroace.

In September 2020, Rea began to seriously doubt her male gender identity and went through an agonising period of questioning. Before this, she had identified as a she/her male. She settled on calling herself agender, and on October 22, 2020, finally discovered that she was a transgender female. She does not experience bottom dysphoria, but does experience voice, hair, and social dysphoria.

She currently identifies as a female non-binary (parafemale), but often simplifies her identity to female.

Rea has been subjected to transphobia, acephobia, and generalised homophobia due to her gae identities.
