Umbragender is a gender in the exemgenders system. It is a xenogender that feels animalistic and/or otherworldly and has a connection to shadows and shadow-like figures. One who is umbragender may have an emotional, physical, or aesthetic connection to shadow-type Pokémon, but doesn't have to. It could also be connected to one's kintype/kingender, or other factors.
