    == Gender-neutral parenting ==
    There are studies that show that gender-neutral parenting has massive emotional and mental pros, and promotes development skills. It also is shown to help development of identity and promotes the child to learn about themself while they are young.

    The cons to this approach comes mainly from society and the pushed gender roles within school, events, and friends. Besides these societal-formed issues, the UAB approach at parenting tends to have better results.

    An article useful for facing the topic of gender-neutral parenting is listed [https://www.todaysparent.com/family/parenting/how-to-talk-to-kids-about-gender-age-by-age-guide/ here].

    == Pros to gender-neutral parenting ==

    * UAB children tend to show more creativity due to their freedom of expression.
    * UAB children do not feel restricted with choices of toys or clothes.
    * UAB children can relate to other genders, due to their exploration of items, clothes, and interests.
    * UAB children have a better sense of identity, even if they end up falling into the [[Binary Genders|binary genders.]]
    * UAB children tend to be better leaders later in life.
    * UAB children do not have stereotypes or bias narrowing their views.
    * UAB children make choices without worry of their gender playing a role.

    == Cons ==

    * Due to society's push of gender roles, UAB children may grow confused within school or other locations that are gender-based.
    * Due to society's push of gender roles, UAB children tend to be bullied by children who are growing up under binary roles.
