The black stripe represents text, and the red line represents the underline used to indicate misspelled words by many word processors. |

The original flag's stripes are white, red with scribbles of a slightly lighter red, and a dark gray off-black. Due to the lighter red scribbles being unintentional, the flag was recreated to have a cleaner look and a pure black stripe. Both flags have the same meaning, being black/gray and white for text and red for the squiggly line that appears under misspelled text. |
