Tusing is a term that originated on the actr/lgballt ofdiscord identifyingserver. somethingIt thatis doesn'tdefined as when you do not feel like an identity quite fitfits you, but it is the closest idea that you can find, and you wish to identify with it. For example, if you do not feel like you are fully asexual, but you are sex repulsed and feel more comfortable identifying as ace, you can say you are tusing asexual. Another example would be if you feel that you are in between cis and gender fluid, you could say you are tusing cis and gender fluid. Any LGBT+ or MOGAI identity can be tused.
== Term Origin ==
TheTus word tus was first used on the r/LGBallT discord server. It comesoriginated from the airport code for Tucson, Arizona, after a discussion about how identities are not always exactly perfect fits, and sometimes the line around identities is weird. This was compared to how addresses in Arizona say that they are in Tucson, despitewhen notthey beingare not within city limits.
== Flag ==
The flag is a gradient of purple stripes, centered around a white stripe, with a purple circle over it. The white stripe represents the term, the purple gradient represents being close to, but not in the term, and the circle is taken from the flag of Tucson, Arizona. The flag was created by Luna (Discord: Luna-Moon, Reddit: u/lunaissickofhate).
