Toygender is a Xenogender that is closely linked with childhood, playfullness, and toys. It can be soft-masculine-leaning, but it doesn’t have to be. People under this label feel like their gender and identity is tied with their experiences with toys growing up, or their affinity for toys even as an adult or teen. People under this label may also feel like they fall under a miniature, simplified, or 'toy' version of a pre-existing gender but cannot relate to the gender in full.

    History

Toygender was first coined on August 8th, 2018 by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags, along with it's initial flag design. While the flag has been reimagined multiple times on Tumblr, it's most modern rendition was created on Feburary 4th, 2021 on Twitter.
