Theory is a prefix or suffix which can be added onto any sort of orientation, like so:
- gendertheory (like puttygendertheory)
- theorysexual (like pantheorysexual)
- pronountheory
- nomitheory (like nomifluidtheory)
- and others!
It is described as feeling like you could identify with something or incorporate something into your identity in theory, but would be uncomfortable with it when it was actually used or seen as part of your identity. For example, an individual could say they were pronountheory, as in, in theory they'd want others to use she/her for them, but when she/her pronouns are actually used for the individuals, they may feel dysphoric, uncomfortable, etc.
