    == Is teratosexuality LGBTQ+? ==
    Teratosexuality is often confused with a paraphillia, however, this is, by ''most'' definitions, an incorrect case. [https://www.merckmanuals.com/home/mental-health-disorders/sexuality-and-sexual-disorders/overview-of-paraphilias-and-paraphilic-disorders Paraphillias] are known as sexual disorders and harmful desires, often leading to the distress of the person experiencing them and/or those around them. Whether or not it is a paraphillia is up to debate, depending on ones definition for such.

    Teratosexuality, however, does not usually cause harm, as it does not influence or promote any harmful or dangerous acts, and is simply a desire/attraction to one who does not exist outside of fiction. In ''some'' cases, one who is teratosexual may feel levels of distress due to being unable to have sexual feelings for people in reality, however this does not mean that everyone who is teratosexual feels this way, nor does it mean teratosexuality is bad.

    Although this term may be seen as odd, one must remember that monsters within fiction also tend to have human-like personalities and traits. One may find that fictional monsters have more interesting/attractive personalities, and that they are more attention-grabbing than fictional people or real people.

    Teratosexual, due to being a sexual minority that does not cause harm as well as being [[Asexual Spectrum|ace-spec]], would fall under the LGBTQ+ umbrella.
